Góes is actually a veteran of the independent musical scene in Sao Paulo. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentist, he has been through a few bands, being Paumandado (released in 2003 by RecoHead) the most lasting one. For almost 10 years, Góes also works as a musical producer dedicated to cinema and advertisiing. His hand is behind the soundtracks of movies like "Abril Despedaçado" of Walter Salles (2001), "City of God" of Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund (2002), and also of the documentary "Pixote in Memorian", Felipe Briso e Gilberto Topczewski, and finally of the awarded short "Balada das Duas Mocinhas de Botafogo", João Caetano Feyer e Fernando Valle (2006).
